Online Rights Enforcement

As the amount of business conducted online has increased, so too has the threat of online infringement. Infringers will frequently post on their website photographs or text from an IP owner’s website, or sell infringing products in major online marketplaces. We have extensive experience enforcing our clients’ IP rights online on major websites/marketplaces, including Amazon, Facebook, Instagram, eBay, Alibaba, Scribed and Walmart, by using clients’ IP registrations, applicable laws such as the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, and each website/marketplace’s specific IP-enforcement protocols. In instances where infringements are located on an infringer’s website, we have the expertise and experience to effect the removal of the offending material by communicating with the appropriate party or taking appropriate judicial actions, including taking the website down via domain name challenges in UDRP proceedings.
