Jeffrey Kaden specializes in patent and trademark prosecution and trademark and copyright litigation. His areas of technical expertise are chemistry and biotechnology, including organic chemistry, biochemistry, biomaterials, and biomechanics. His proficiency in biomedical engineering includes a stint as a research fellow, during his undergraduate career, at Johns Hopkins' renowned University Hospital and Medical Center. For almost 20 years, Mr. Kaden has advised a wide range of high-tech and soft goods clients on patent, trademark, and copyright procurement in the United States and abroad. He is licensed before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and has appeared on behalf of his clients in numerous federal and state court proceedings. A regular contributor to a variety of trade and industry publications, Mr. Kaden is currently the firm’s managing partner.
